EXO-Ls have had enough! Following concerns about EXO’s treatment by their agency, Sehun’s apology was enough to push the fandom to finally give up and ask for the group to leave SM Entertainment.

Backtracking a bit, SM Entertainment will be holding an in-person family concert SMTOWN LIVE, for the first time in five years. Scheduled for August 20 at Seoul’s Suwon World Cup Stadium, the concert will mark the physical return of SM Entertainment’s trademark SMTOWN LIVE concerts.

While fans of other artists were thrilled, EXO’s fans expressed their frustration over Sehun’s name not being included in the lineup and the lack of a group performance. Here’s how fans reacted to the initial news:

However, it was Sehun’s recent message on Bubble, a paid communication application, that caused SM Entertainment to come under fire for mistreatment. In a lengthy message, EXO apologized for his absence and advised fans to take care of themselves while attending SM TOWN. “How have you all been? I missed you so much today, but it’s a pity that I couldn’t see you. Enjoy the SM Town that’s been going on for a long time, have a good time with our members, and give us a lot of support. I’ll show you a good stage together soon. I’m sorry,” expressed the member. Take a look at what fans have to say:

Fans also pointed out that this isn’t the first time SM Entertainment allegedly mistreated Sehun. With a lack of acting promotions and no solo album, the EXO members’ fans are upset with the situation.

Meanwhile, on the group front, EXO celebrated their tenth anniversary on April 8 this year. The boy group are currently focusing on their solo careers with Kai and Chen headlining the Hallyu Pop Fest in London and Xiumin set to release his first solo album at the end of the year.
